Driving up to Barcelona in August 2001 to see them play live is a memory and journey etched in my mind. I was so excited and I played the song over and over in the car with my wife singing along. Live it was, remains still, amazing.

The other songs are all good , but this one puts them all in the shade, the sentiments, the singing and orchestration are singularly masterful and evocative, understated but powerful notwithstanding.

I saw U2 at Twickenham a few years ago,this song always reminds me of the summer evening of the concert,It was a beautiful day,happy times,great song.

I went to see U2 in 2001 when I was pregnant with my daughter who's now 7. I think that's where she got her love of music from! This is a poignant song for me.

I just love it,this song was on the album and tour (elevation) that put U2 back at the top of the pile,BRILLIANT . p.s may be KITE is song of the decade but it was never released.....a real shame.

Always used to hear this song on match of the day, and it really inspired me, truely amazing, get the chills every time I hear it.

Surely one of the best songs of the decade, when this song came out everybody loved it. Has it been forgotten so soon? An uplifting track, absolutely fantastic.
