Song Info

According to the Bittersweet Symphony Songfacts, the lyrics are a somber look at the ennui of everyday life: "You're a slave to money, then you die." "Bittersweet Symphony" samples an obscure orchestral version of The Last Time , a 1965 song by The Rolling Stones . If people are voting for 90's songs now, then I guess I'm going to have to go with this. No more Aerosmith in the top 50 please.

I thought this was from the 90's. Wow, the naughties music has just shot up in my estimation. Classic and given to the people as Ascroft says.
