This is the song of the decade. It's not nearly as gay as the other junk other we've had to put up with:)

One of those classic rock anthems that makes you want to leap around and dance, and very evocative of the era. One of the best songs of the best band of the noughties.

I get a kick everytime I hear it. It is just so powerful. It is fun to think of how serious the narriator sounds and then how unreal the lyrics seems...I almost start laughing every time I hear the chorus part " you had a boyfriend, who looked like a girlfriend that I had in February of last year..." It is nice to know that the band has a great sense of humour and is not afraid to let the joke be on their expense.

This was the first time I heard the Killers and it was a breath of fresh air in terms of a new sound. Even this was sooooo long ago now, it never sounds dated, and everytime it comes on the radio I feel like jumping around like a looney! g
