The Kooks are an English indie rock band, formed in Brighton in 2004. The band currently consists of four members; Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Paul Garred and Peter Denton. They have released two studio albums; their 2006 debut Inside In/Inside Out peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and their 2008 follow up Konk reached number one. I like this one cos it sounds like a familar voice singing the lead vocals even though I know its not who I think it is and it sounds like hes saying "baby jane" rather than "paper dreams" which (apparently) is the real lyric!1
