Sam and Amanda Marchant, from Newcastle-Under-Lyme, became the first twins to enter the Big Brother UK house in 2007 and later qualifying as one housemate in order to win Big Brother UK. They came runner-up to Brian Belo. After Big Brother UK they recorded a single, a cover of Aqua's Barbie Girl, under the name Samanda, a nickname coined by the British tabloids for the duo.
