This is a good song. It is timeless and sounds as good today as it did when it was released. It has a nice hook and I always love to hear it. Of course anything by Nickelback is awesome.

2 nickleback songs in the top 5? Oh come on! Elbow, Green day, Florence and the machine, Foo fighters, Snow Patrol (not chasing cars though, that's incredibly dull), pretty much EVERY other band is better than Nippleback. Gross.

This song is the pinnacle of the post-grunge genre. It represents the angst-ridden lyrics, the harsh vocals, the loud/soft dynamics, the pummeling guitar tone. Everything that post-grunge is you can find in this song, off the album that perfectly represents post-grunge, Silver Side Up. This song IS the song of the decade, without a doubt. Too bad Nickelback won't return to their roots and write like this again.

This song takes me back to a car journey to Hihgbury with my brothers and cousin and them all taking the mick out of my singing. Two years later my youngest brother passed away unexpectedly, he had this amazing ability to be able to listen to music on the radio once or twice and then reproduce on the keyboard and this song will always remind me of him.
