Sing For Absolution is the fourth track on Absolution, and the third single from the album. Often found in the opening few songs of the Absolution Tour, the song and video continues the theme of Absolution, the apocalypse. An adaption of this is used in the final Doctor Who of the second series when the Doctor and Rose are standing by the same wall but in different parallell universes walk away. This is a beautiful song that makes me feel both elated and reflective, I have told my wife that I wanted it played at my funeral followed by Sunburn as I bugger off to get burnt :)
