The single was initially released as a promo on December 1st, 2008 and was released via all formats on January 23rd, 2009. The 12 track album came out on February 9th, 2009. The song was originally posted on Allen's MySpace page in 2008 under the working demo title I Don't Know. It appears to be the favourite of the demos leaked, with over 35,000 plays on Last.fm.
