Conoci su musica hace ya 7 años.Los oi en la radio y hasta que no supe quienes eran paso algun tiempo,porque aun no habian grabado ningun CD e iban a golpe de single.Pero la energetica y poderosa voz de Tom Chaplin me obsesiono ,asi como las melodias y la nostalgia y el amor que rezumaban de sus letras y melodias de Tim Rice-Oxley.Me llevaban a recorrer bosques , a soñar entre las nubes,o a epocas magicas del pasado de su isla.Y conoci tambien a traves de ellos al amor de mi vida.Son unicos ,grandes artistas por su humildad y la genialidad y la gran sensibilidad de las composiciones de Tim Rice-Oxley.Tom Chaplin es una de las grandes voces de la epoca,comparable con Lucciano Pavarotti,asi como lo fue Freddie Mercurie en su tiempo.Es magnifico como interprete y como persona.Brilla en el escenario como una luz en la oscuridad.Richard Hughes ,sensible y comprometido con la vida y el arte,es un ejemplo de humanidad y de talento.Son familia ya para mi.Los admiro y adoro.Su musica me consuela ,me hace bailar,reir y sentirme viva.Gracias Toms,Tim y Rich.

Para mi es una magnifica cancion, conoci a keane y al amor de mi corta y grandiosa vida, con ellos sufri, me emocione y simplemente vivi. No cabe duda que keane es una de las mejores bandas que hay en el mundo en estos ultimos tiempos, con el roze de su sentimentalismo frescura y con muchas ganas de vivir hacen de ellos un amplio sentido a la musica. Para mi SOwK es una de las mas grandicimas canciones por eso voto por la cancion de la decada!

Some people may think this kind of poll makes no sense because being popular doesn't necessarily mean you're doing reallt great. To me, this poll makes sense. I was born in 1992 but I've been listening to music since the first months of my life thanks to my mother, and I still recall songs from 1993 ! I fell in love with "Somewhere Only We Know" when I first listened to it in 2004. And honestly, it was the biggest musical crush I had ever had (and I'd already had many !). I really think this is the most beautiful song, the best song I have ever heard in my entire (though not very long still) life, so in this decade. As Tim said, it's not especially written about love and so everyone can give it his own sense. I personally take it like a song about love (though apparently it was not really about love). This "Somewhere Only We Know" is the place me and my boyfriend only know (as "imaginary" as it can be), where everything is peaceful, where I can forget all my personal problems which have made my everyday life very difficult for a long time. In this place, there's just the two of us and our love, pure. This is my interpretation of the song but anyone of you can have his own. I absolutely cannot spend a day without listening to this song. I even have the ritual of watching the music video just before sleeping every night. You might say I'm crazy. I don't care about it. The only thing I know is that this song will remain my Keane favourite and my favourite song above all, until I die. And that's why I obviously voted for it.
