I think this classic of a maiden song should win as if it wasn't for Iron Maiden I would never started listening to rock & never would have learned to play the guitar & end up forming my own band that did rather well in the croydon & sutton area. I started listening to them when I was a young lad of 11 & they are still my favorite band now. They have influenced so many bands that use their signature galloping beats & melodic dual guitar harmonies! It would just be a crime Not to have this band that have become a pure british institution as song of the decade & their song Running Free is in a class of it's own. Up The Irons!
