In this song, Green Day detail the life and times of a so-called Jesus of Suburbia, the fictional protagonist of American Idiot. His real name is Jimmy, which is revealed in the extended music video when a girl calls him that and in the cut version of the video when he writes "Saint Jimmy" on a bathroom stall. Green Day write some of the best music around and this song just proves their talent. We've only heard this song once on Absolute - Steve Harris played it. How long ago was that?

Why I've never heard this song on Absolute? it's a crime! The modern day Bohemian Rhapsody and dare I say it? Much better.
