Doves are an alternative rock band from Manchester, United Kingdom consisting of Jimi Goodwin (vocals, bass) and twin brothers Jez Williams (guitar) and Andy Williams (drums). They are joined on stage by Martin Rebelski (keys). They are known for their large, epic sound, which combines dovetailing guitar lines with driving percussion and a penchant for atmospherics. Of the Decade? How 'bout of the last century? Or two? Can I vote for that? This is probably the greatest song written since, I dunno, Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata."

The recent version they did of this track with the London Bulgarian Choir at the BBC Electric Proms was just mind-blowingly brilliant. Song of the decade, band of the decade.

This album was realised when I was in indonesia and played constantly. it's and awesome anthemic tune and always reminds me of sitting on a beach in Bali. Go doves!
