Doves are an alternative rock band from Manchester, United Kingdom consisting of Jimi Goodwin (vocals, bass) and twin brothers Jez Williams (guitar) and Andy Williams (drums). They are joined on stage by Martin Rebelski (keys). They are known for their large, epic sound, which combines dovetailing guitar lines with driving percussion and a penchant for atmospherics. This is by far the best song the Doves have ever created. It is the type of song that you can listen to a hundred times and on the 100th listen you notice something you didn't catch the first 99 times. Amazing.

This is best listened to with headphones and the volume turned all the way up. You can hear incredible emotions incorporated into the music, and it absolutely fills me every time I listen to it. No matter how much I love other bands and songs, this will be my favorite forever because its lyric meaning is a life lesson and the talent behind writing this is quite powerful. :)

If there's a song to pick you up and give you a good shake and say 'stop moaning, get on with it!' ... this is it! Whether it's on in the house or listening to it live (preferably this), it gets the same response from me every time... jumping around like a bag of ferrets!
