Recorded at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios, the recording was rushed so that the song could be released in time for Summer 2000. For a song to be considered song of the decade it should have been around for the best part of that time and still sound as good as when first released i.e timeless !!!!! This does it all.

Coldplay -must- get the song of the decade award! Because they are the band of the decade! And yellow being their best loved and known song is the obvious choice for the song of the decade!
