this song is by far one of the best written songs ever, wtf is absolute allowing mc fly fans on here. This got forgotten, don't know why, perhaps absolute should start playing it again to remind people how good it really is and how it should be in its rightful place, number one song of the decade

I have completly lost faith in the general public. This is one of, if not, Thee, most meaningful song in the past decade, yet it only makes it to #38, McFly, don't stop me now, which was made famous by Queen is just behind, that shows how poor our knowledge of good music is. It's a shame really.

My daughter was also born prematurely (at 26 weeks) and weighed 496 grams, not quite 1lb 1oz in English money. She's now a healthy, cheeky 8 year old. Whenever I hear this song it reminds me of those uncertain early days, the lyrics are spot on.

As with an earlier comment. My daughter (now 19 and healthy) got meningitis when she was 2. Scary stuff, and this song brings tears to my eyes remembering it all. But I love loads of other stuff by Athlete too!!

I may only be 18, and got in to music 2years ago or so, and just loved the 80s and hated most of todays music but its based on true story and is makes you think how precious life can be :(

|My son had suspected meningitis at the age of 14 months. He needed 2 lumber punctures and I was shit scared. The whole mood and lyric of the song encapsulates the emotions at the time - including the "looking at you now, you would never know " that we feel every time he runs around like a tasmanian devil. We were lucky.
