Arctic Monkeys are an alternative rock band who formed in High Green, Sheffield, England in 2002. The band consists of Alex Turner (vocals, guitar), Jamie 'Cookie' Cook (guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass) and Matt Helders (drums, vocals). Founding bassist Andy Nicholson left in 2006. Arctic Monkeys Arree the best!:) Ive met alex turner in a sayers shop in liverpool, ledgend!! :) this song is such a good one, and is one of their best. If youve seen them live its their best song they play by far really gets the crowd going! :)

Arctic Monkeys...brilliant lyrical band...one of the best since wellers the jam....but its a shame another quality english band of similar standard "The Rifles" don't get the recognition on the radio that they should...Get both albums and listen all the way through

Arctic Monkeys never fail to amaze me with their spot on narrative lyrics and fresh individual 'av it' sound. I'm voting for this because Fake Tales from San Francisco isn't on the list. Seriously and there are 20 odd songs for Britney. Let's not take this too seriously...

Alex Turner, possibly the best British lyricist since Morrisey. This song shows off his story telling abillites to be amazing
